What to Expect

Advantage is proud to offer the best warranties in the industry. Some example warranties are listed below. Note that some installations may have specific warranty applications for their situations. The examples below are intended as a general guideline only. Always check with Advantage for your specific application and we will be pleased to give you a written warranty statement.

Water Mains

Where Advantage has replaced the water service from the curb stop (city connection) to the main shut off in the home, a 25 year parts and labour warranty applies. Of course, mechanical damage voids the warranty.

Pumps

Pumps supplied and installed by Advantage have a 3 to 10 year warranty depending on model and application. Of course, damage caused by faulty electrical service or foreign matter jamming the pump voids the warranty.

Water Heaters

Storage tank water heaters supplied and installed by Advantage have a 8 year warranty against leakage, 2 year warranty on parts and labour or 10 year or lifetime complete warranty depending on model and installation. All other components have a 2 year parts and labour warranty. Extended warranties are available on water heaters. Ask your service technician and see Extended Warranties.

Furnaces

Furnaces supplied and installed by Advantage have a 5 - 10 year parts and labour warranty on all components. Heat exchanger warranties are as per the installed model and vary from 10 years to lifetime. Advantage matches the manufacturer's parts warranty term with labour warranty for the same period. Boilers

One year parts and labour on all models. Manufacturer's warranty on parts matched by Advantage with labour warranty for the same term.

Perimeter Drainage

Complete perimeter drainage work around the whole house, including the discharge line is warrantied for 10 years. Repairs are also warrantied for 10 years but only for the portion replaced or repaired, not the whole system. Note that perimeter systems require regular maintenance as part of the warranty requirements and conditions.

Pipe Repairs

Pipe repairs have a 5 year warranty on materials and labour. Note this covers only the portion of the pipe repaired, not the whole line.

Fixtures

Fixtures (sinks, toilets faucets etc) have parts and labour warranties ranging from 2 to 10 years depending on manufacturer and model. In all cases, Advantage matches the manufacture's parts warranty term with labour for the same term.

General Disclaimer

All warranties are limited to labour and equipment. In no event shall Advantage be liable for any property damage or loss of use of the property for any reason whatsoever. Tampering or altering the equipment or system in any way may void the applicable warranty. Acts of God, riots, war and vandalism voids all warranties. Warranty specified by technician on invoice supersedes all other warranty policies.
